The best friend of Hikaru, he is a quiet teenage boy. He has a fondness for animals and insects. The first to realize that "Hikaru" isn't Hikaru. He struggles with accepting the fact that his childhood friend has been replaced by something else, yet continues to go about his daily life with it.
