A military officer holding the rank of Second Lieutenant in the Free Treaty Alliance forces. He is the pilot of the Valiancer "Bradyon." While he possesses a cool demeanor, he also shows a caring side toward his comrades. He is an ace-class pilot with exceptional judgment. Due to a high compatibility rating with the "Coupling System" installed in his unit, he becomes the partner of Aoba Watase, who arrived from the past—specifically, 74 years ago. Having undergone formal training, he possesses superior piloting skills; he and Fromm Vantarhei were classmates at the Valiancer Coupler training academy. When he couples with Aoba using the Coupling System, his piloting skills are reflected in Aoba's performance. Repeated coupling with Aoba makes it impossible to couple with other Couplers; however, upon learning this, he resolves to remain Aoba's partner, dismissing the issue by saying, "I can just train again." He hails from the Weinberg family, a distinguished Alliance clan. He harbors a rift with his father stemming from a past incident where the Zogilia military bombed the town where his mother and younger sister, Fiona, lived—an attack that claimed his mother's life and left Fiona unable to walk due to her injuries. However, Fiona comforted him, telling him that the bombing was not his fault and that he should not let it weigh on his mind.
