説明

Species: Human Height: 175 cm Though he possesses the casual, laid-back demeanor typical of a high school boy, he excels at outsmarting opponents by strategically switching between different Triggers to suit the situation—a skill essential for a "Shooter," a role that demands constant tactical thinking. Like Yoneyama and Miwa, he attends a regular high school affiliated with Border. Izumi, Yoneyama, and Midorikawa are sometimes collectively referred to as the "A-Rank Three Idiots." The three are quite close; for instance, they were treated to a yakiniku (grilled meat) meal by Azuma—a reward promised following a battle against humanoid Neighbors—and he is also shown eating lunch with Yoneyama, who happens to be in the same class at school. He has a 23-year-old older sister named Eiko. Ninomiya, of the Ninomiya Unit, is his protégé. The two have been seen watching B-Rank Rank Wars together from the spectator stands on two separate occasions, suggesting a positive relationship between the mentor and his student.
