Height: 177 cm Captain of the B-Rank Kageura Unit, affiliated with Border Headquarters. His position is Attacker. True to his appearance, he is short-tempered and aggressive—a troublemaker who has even been involved in incidents resulting in physical assault. Due to a "side effect," he has had many unpleasant experiences in his interpersonal relationships, which has significantly shaped his personality. However, according to Murakami, he is "simple and straightforward at heart." He even shows a playful—if somewhat mischievous—side; for instance, he might strike a mock-menacing pose to startle C-Class agents who are already afraid of him. He is called "Kage" by those close to him—including his own teammates, as well as peers like Murakami and Arafune—while he, in turn, refers to Murakami as "Hagane." He has no interest in expeditions to the Neighbor World, and perhaps as a result, he rarely watches footage of other teams' Rank Wars. His family runs an okonomiyaki (savory pancake) restaurant, which is a popular spot frequented by many Border agents; Arafune, for one, is a regular customer. His parents and older brother run a shop; it was previously located near the East Gate 3, but a year and a half ago—following an expansion of the exclusion zone—it was relocated to the vicinity of Umemiya Bridge. He reportedly began helping out at the shop only after joining Border.
