Misao and Takeya's father, Masayuki appears to be a typical branch family head, seemingly devoid of any familial love for his children. After Misao uses her dark powers to go on a killing spree, Masayuki and several members of his family resolve to kill her themselves. After confronting Misao about her actions, and hearing the remorselessness in her voice and answers, he attempts to kill her without a second thought. His attacks have no effect, and Misao kills her father and the other family members with little effort.
