He is a second-year student at Kiraboshi High School who transforms into Cure Top and dreams of becoming a "Dance Star" by winning the national championship with the dance club he has long admired. He possesses an incredibly energetic personality and abundant stamina. Having been "saved by dance" in the past, he is a dance enthusiast through and through. His destiny as a Precure begins to unfold when he encounters the fairy Pas De Deux just as he is heading to the selection trials for the dance club's regular team. His best subject is P.E., while his weakest is math; he loves cheese but struggles with keeping things organized.
