Height: 178 cm An attacker on the Ninomiya Squad—the top-ranked B-Class team at Border Headquarters. While his cool appearance and demeanor can give the impression that he is somewhat cold-hearted, he reveals a childlike side and a cheerfulness typical of his age when away from the battlefield—such as when he hangs out with Inukai and Yoneya after missions, or his fondness for things like dinosaurs and sweet treats like cream puffs. His favorite dinosaur is the Allosaurus. He also appears to have an interest in marine reptiles like the Elasmosaurus, as well as the Sarcosuchus (a giant crocodilian). Furthermore, he is extremely uncomfortable around the opposite sex; he finds it difficult not only to hold a conversation with women outside of his own team, but even to make eye contact with them. Interestingly, despite his struggles, he still harbors a separate desire to be popular with girls. He is the second of three brothers. his older brother is named Ryoutarou, and his younger brother is named Souhei. He joined Border approximately three years prior to the events of the main story. He joined shortly after Ninomiya, making him senior to both Inukai and Hiyami (who joined about two years ago).
