Lind L. Tailor

Lind L. Tailor is a convicted criminal sentenced to die. L places Tailor as a decoy on television in order to lure out Kira. Light, in a foolish rage, ends up killing Tailor with a heart attack, believing him to be "L" even though he is not. This gives L his first real lead in the Kira case, and is the first interaction L and Kira share together.
