Height: 172 cm Affiliations: Keikain House A member of the "Yaso School"—a branch family of the Keikain clan specializing in the forging of cursed swords—and an Onmyoji. He serves as the guardian of the First Seal at Nijo Castle and is a leading candidate to become the next clan head. He is the older step-brother of Yura Keikain; he has a soft spot for her and finds himself unable to refuse her requests, even when he knows he should say no. He is a young man with long hair and a calm demeanor; at first glance, he could easily be mistaken for a woman. While he is a serious, model student type with a strong sense of justice, he harbored feelings of anxiety—and jealousy—toward his rival for the clan leadership, Ryuuji Keikain, as well as toward Yura, who had successfully summoned the "Hagun" (Great Dipper) technique. In an effort to gain the power needed to defeat the Keikain clan's sworn enemy, Hagoromo Gitsune, he researched the forbidden Onmyodo technique known as "Tsukiki-jutsu" (Spirit Possession Art). However, the technique caused him to lose control, and he was subsequently manipulated by the Kyoto Youkai. Thanks to the efforts of Ryuji and Yura, Akifusa was rescued; although he suffered both physical and mental trauma, he eventually made a full recovery.
