The main character of Patema Inverted. She is a resident of a village that lives deep underground, and often challenges the rule that forbids leaving the village's limits. Throughout the movie, Patema is shown to have an inverted gravity in comparison to those who dwell on the surface, meaning she could fall upwards through the sky should nothing bound her to land.
