VORTEX Terms of Use

These Terms govern access to VORTEX and use of its features. By registering, signing in, or continuing to use the service after reviewing them, you enter into an agreement with the VORTEX administrator, Ivan Rovkov (Ровков Иван), an individual in Russia.

If you do not agree, do not use the service. Mandatory consumer protections and other rights that cannot lawfully be waived remain unaffected.

VORTEX is a closed, non-commercial service for adults. You confirm that you are at least 18, may legally accept these Terms, and obtained access lawfully.

Access is personal and may depend on an invitation or administrator approval. You may not transfer an account or access to another person.

VORTEX combines an anime, manga, and light-novel catalog with user lists and progress, recommendations, news, social features, direct messages, watch parties, games, and the VORTEX AI assistant. Individual features may change or become unavailable.

The service does not sell subscriptions, display advertising, or grant rights in third-party works. VORTEX may display metadata and direct users to external playback or reading sources, but it does not own those works or host original video files.

You must provide accurate information where required, keep it current, and protect your sign-in methods. Activity through an account is treated as the user's activity until the administrator is notified of compromise.

If you suspect unauthorized access, secure the available sign-in method and contact the administrator immediately. Privacy settings control visibility of certain information but do not replace care when posting information.

When using VORTEX, you must not:

• break the law, infringe another person's rights, or violate an external service's rules;
• post unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, knowingly false, or privacy-invasive material;
• impersonate others, harass users, send spam, or manipulate ratings or game results;
• obtain another person's data or access without permission, bypass restrictions, test vulnerabilities, or interfere with the service;
• use automated scraping, bulk requests, resale, mirroring, or commercial use without written permission;
• upload malicious code or material you do not have the necessary rights to publish.

You retain rights in content you create. By submitting it to VORTEX, you grant the administrator a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission, limited to operating the service, to store, reproduce, display, technically adapt, and moderate that content. It lasts while content is available and for a reasonable backup period after deletion.

You confirm that you may submit the content and that it does not violate another person's rights. Visibility depends on the feature and privacy settings. The administrator may hide or remove material, limit distribution, and preserve evidence where reasonably necessary for safety or legal compliance.

The VORTEX interface, software, branding, and original materials are protected by applicable law. These Terms do not transfer ownership in them.

Names, images, descriptions, music, video, text, and other third-party materials belong to their respective owners. Catalog inclusion does not transfer rights or imply endorsement. Rights-holder requests may be submitted through the rights-request page or contact address.

VORTEX may interact with Telegram, MyAnimeList, Shikimori, AI providers, and external playback or reading sources. They operate under their own terms and policies. You decide whether to enable an optional integration.

The administrator does not control an external resource's availability, security, legality, or content. Review its rules before use. VORTEX's non-commercial nature does not relieve users from respecting copyright or other rights.

VORTEX AI responses and automated recommendations are generated algorithmically, may be inaccurate or incomplete, and are not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Do not submit secrets or information that should not be disclosed to the selected AI provider.

You are responsible for checking output before relying on it or using it outside the service.

Points, in-service currency, cards, achievements, and other game objects exist only within VORTEX. They are not money, property, or financial instruments, are not sold for real money, cannot be withdrawn or exchanged, and may be changed or reset when a game is updated.

The administrator may temporarily limit a feature, hide content, suspend, or terminate access for a Terms violation, security threat, legal request, or project shutdown. Where reasonable and safe, the user will be told why.

You may stop using VORTEX at any time, clear available data categories, and request account deletion. Provisions concerning rights, liability, disputes, and data that by their nature should survive will remain effective after termination.

VORTEX is provided as is and as available. To the extent permitted by law, the administrator does not guarantee uninterrupted operation, preservation of every feature, catalog or AI accuracy, or the quality and availability of external materials.

The administrator is liable only for direct loss caused by its culpable breach to the extent liability cannot be excluded under applicable law. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury, or any other matter that the law does not allow to be limited.

We may update these Terms as VORTEX or the law changes. The current version and date will appear on this page, and material changes will be communicated by an available method. Changes do not apply retroactively unless required by law.

These Terms are governed by the law of the Russian Federation without depriving a user of mandatory protections available under applicable law. Before court proceedings, the parties will try to resolve a dispute through the contact address unless mandatory law permits immediate action.
