Jun Arashiyama

Description

Height: 179 cm An all-rounder and captain of the Arashiyama Unit—ranked 5th in A-Class—within Border Headquarters. As the captain of the Arashiyama Unit—which also serves a public relations function—he frequently appears on television and in other media, making him the "face of Border." He is a refreshing, handsome young man with a serious and sincere personality; the author describes him as a "nice guy." He is also quite poor at telling lies. Affiliated with the Shinoda faction, he possesses a strong sense of duty to protect the city’s citizens. However, he is flexible regarding rules—he even praised Osamu for breaking regulations to defeat a Molmod. His family consists of seven members: his father (a company employee), his mother (a housewife who also works part-time), his younger twin siblings—Fuku and Saho (who attend the same school as Osamu)—his grandmother, and a dog. He is deeply devoted to his family and dotes on his twin siblings. He has a rather peculiar quirk: he is both an overprotective older brother to his brother and his sister. Incidentally, his name and the names of his twin siblings were chosen by his late grandfather, who imbued them with a special meaning. He is a cousin of Konami from the Tamakoma Branch. It seems that his distinctive, feather-like hair tips are an inherited trait. As part of the public relations unit, he is featured in a wide array of official Border merchandise—much like the kind of goods you might see for idols, sports teams, or anime series. There is even a life-sized doll of Arashiyama kept in the headquarters' media relations office.
