エペル・フェルミエ

Description

Height: 156cm Dorm: 1st Year Student of Pomefiore. A lovely boy with a fragile, ethereal charm. He is a man of few words who gives off a mysterious air, keeping a slight distance from those around him. He addresses others with honorifics like "-san" or "-kun" and speaks in a halting, hesitant manner, often ending his sentences with questioning phrases like "...I wonder?" At first glance, he appears quiet and reserved... However, when emotional, he displays a shocking contrast to his usual self, breaking into a Tohoku-style dialect and using rough language. This dialect slips out at unexpected moments, and his self-reference shifts from the polite "Boku" to the rougher "Ore" or even "Waa." He acts this way because Vil forces him to play the role of a "pretty boy," even though he was actually a delinquent back home; he used to beat up anyone who treated him like a girl—such as by calling him "cute"—in fistfights. At the entrance ceremony, Vil admonished him for his poor fashion sense and dialect. Misinterpreting this as a challenge to a fight, he tried to retaliate but was soundly defeated in hand-to-hand combat. Ordered to show absolute obedience, he is now forced to wear frilly shirts with his uniform and undergoes Spartan-level training in manners and etiquette. His habit of avoiding dialect and using honorifics like "-kun" and "-san" is also a result of Vil's orders. His lack of facial expression is actually due to his poor acting skills, though this ironically enhances his fragile, ethereal aura. Incidentally, having calmed down since then, he now understands that the incident regarding the fight was merely a matter of Vil correcting his behavior. (Though he does push back against it.) Because of these circumstances, he has harbored resentment toward his assigned dormitory and its Housewarden ever since his first day at school.
