Shishiou

Description

A tachi forged by a swordsmith of the Yamato tradition during the late Heian period. It was crafted to be slender and lightweight, designed specifically for ease of use even in old age. Yet, its mountings were fashioned with magnificence—so as not to diminish the pride of an aging general—resulting in a blade that has taken on the persona of a kind-hearted, devoted grandson.
