トルコ
Description
Height: 177 cm He represents a former great power that spanned both Europe and Asia—at certain points in history, he also represents the Ottoman Empire. His personality is intensely passionate, hot-blooded, boisterous, and flamboyant. He is friendly and cheerful, yet stubborn in rather peculiar ways—and he can be a bit of a meddler. He also has a stylish side, often taking new trends and adapting them to suit his own tastes. He keeps his mask on at all times, and his hair is frequently hidden beneath a hat or a hood. (Incidentally, during the Ottoman Empire era, he wore a large hat in addition to his mask, making his face completely impossible to see.) He speaks with a lively, rough-and-tumble Edo-ben (a traditional, spirited dialect of Tokyo). He is a true gourmet who delights in all sorts of food and drink every day. He enjoys sweets, rakı (an anise-flavored spirit), and taking baths; he also takes great pleasure in hosting tourists. He might serve you something that looks like apple juice, claiming it’s "tea," or bring you coffee loaded with an excessive amount of sugar. And, of course, he’s often found covered in oil, participating in yağlı güreş (traditional Turkish oil wrestling). He maintains a friendly relationship with Japan, having received much help from them in the past; however, he is constantly at odds with his neighbor, Greece—who also happens to be a friend of Japan. The two go through cycles of reconciliation and bickering, and given their naturally competitive spirits, they still vie with each other at every opportunity. He’s even been known to say that beating Greece is more satisfying than winning a championship! That said, he reportedly built a shopping mall along the border specifically for the people living on the Greek side. It seems he’s on good enough terms with Germany to share a drink—perhaps while chatting about the Euro. As for Italy, however, things are a bit unclear. Once a powerful nation with a vast empire that struck fear across Europe, he now seeks to get along with his European peers. He has spent a long time in a state of limbo—constantly on the verge of joining the EU but never quite getting in—and it seems his pent-up frustration has finally reached a breaking point. During the era of the Ottoman Empire, he launched campaigns and established dominion over various territories, including Greece, who was under his control.
