Height: 189cm A second-year high school student assigned to Court 1. He has a reticent personality; according to Akaya Kirihara, he exudes an inscrutable, intimidating aura. He also faced the protagonist, Ryoma Echizen, in an impromptu match and emerged victorious. Although he is currently on Court 1, he was originally part of the "eliminated" group (wearing black jerseys) coached by Nyudo Mifune; he is a hard worker who clawed his way up from that position. Before being summoned to the U-17 camp, he was based overseas; he joined the training camp after returning to Japan. He challenged No. 1 ranked Ho-oh Byodoin to a match but was defeated after the gap in their abilities was starkly revealed. Subsequently, he received help and guidance from his seniors, Jujiro Oni and Kanata Irie.
