Ghost Quartz

Description

Hardness: 7 A gem in charge of the library and convalescent center, though they sometimes do patrol duty as well. Ghost Quartz has a body made of more than one crystal, meaning they have a second gem inside of them: a dark-colored crystal later named Cairngorm, who has their own personality and is capable of communicating with Ghost. Their weapon of choice is a sickle. Ghost Quartz is quiet, calm, and insecure about themselves. They seem to be rather isolated from the other gems. They used to be partnered with Lapis Lazuli, who was the one in charge of the library until they were taken to the moon by the Lunarians, leaving only their head behind; Ghost was placed in charge of the library afterwards. They speak of Lapis in high regards. Although Ghost describes their inner crystal, Cairngorm, as "violent and brash", they both equally respected and followed Lapis. Ghost temporarily teamed up with Phos, but during their first battle, the outer Ghost Quartz was chipped off of the underlying Cairngorm by the Lunarians and was taken to the moon, leaving only Cairngorm behind. In Ghost's final moments, it's given a clearer picture of Ghost's attitude towards Cairngorm, calling them rude, violent, selfish, and annoying. However, Ghost then entrusts Cairngorm to protect Phos after they're gone.
