Hairein

Description

Height: 180 cm Captain of the Aftokrator expeditionary force. He is one of the four great lords who rule the nation and serves as the head of the Bertiston house—the largest faction in the country. Ranbanein, who also serves in the expeditionary force, is his younger brother. He possesses a calm, composed, and exceptionally cautious personality. He always anticipates potential failure, preparing contingency plans and formulating strategies with that in mind. Consequently, the missions he orchestrates are designed such that failure poses no critical issue—there is always an alternative course of action available. Because of this temperament, Enedra labels him as "gloomy." He possesses a cold-blooded pragmatism, stopping at nothing to achieve his objectives. At the same time, he is capable of recognizing and praising talent, even in his enemies, and will occasionally attempt to recruit them. As a tactician, he excels at diversionary maneuvers and is willing to accept certain losses if it ensures the achievement of his goals.
