Uchuu Senkan Yamato Movie (Provisional Title)

At the 50th anniversary screening attended by Hideaki Anno, Yutaka Izubuchi and Ryuusuke Hikawa, it was announced that Studio Khara was granted rights to produce a new anime movie based on Space Battleship Yamato starting in 2025. Anno revealed that his studio acquired rights for the franchise and the soundtrack and that he is now able to create a new work. Note: Title and relations are provisional and subject to change.
